Photo Post: Visiting the Tree at Rockefeller Center

This is my third winter in New York and despite the snow, this is the best time of year to live in this state. There are so many things to do not only in Nyack, but especially in the city. My absolute favorite thing to do in the city at this time of year is to go into the city and see the tree at Rockefeller Center. It may seem cheesy, but it truly is a spectacular sight. Starbucks in hand, I was amazed–scarf around my neck, freezing cold, and standing in awe of this marvelous piece of nature smack dab in the middle of all these shinny buildings. It is a beautiful sight, and can’t help but get you in the Christmas spirit despite the hustle and bustle of the city around you. If your planning a trip to New York City anytime around Christmas you must stop by and see the tree for yourself, but for now enjoy some pictures I took last time I got to visit this amazing beacon of Christmas.

Here are some pictures from my trip! Merry Christmas.

About Erin Fox

Hey! I'm Erin Fox and I am a junior at Nyack College. I'm just a Midwest girl who made the move to the East coast and loves every minute of it. My major is Inter-cultural studies with a minor in Spanish and Bible. After college I plan on moving to the mission field and sharing the love of Jesus while helping and loving his people all along the way. I love Nyack and know that with each day it is equipping me more and more to do God's work throughout the world.
