So I had the privilege of being in my friend, Anthony’s, wedding this past weekend. Well it started with a 20 hour drive down to Panama City, Fl from NJ. The drive down itself wasn’t that bad. When we finally got down there a few of us spent a few hours cutting strips of tulle for the wedding. It was hilarious because after driving for that long we were delusional while cutting the tulle…and definitely made a lot of mistakes. The next day or so was just a great time hanging out with Anthony, Heather, and the rest of the Bridal party. It was great just sharing, laughing, and reminiscing from the past. It was so good. Then it was Saturday. The day of the wedding started out great. The guys all had breakfast together at this awesome breakfast place called Andy’s flour Power Cafe and Bakery. It was run by a NYC local. The best cheese grit I’ve ever had. So good. After that, it was time to get ready for the ceremony. We all got to the church and started changing. As we got ready we waited in a back room in the church for 3 hours before it was time for the ceremony. As we waited and let the time pass I observed Anthony and he seemed so calm and collective. I knew though that inside he had a lot of emotions. This was a day that he had been waiting for for a long time. He had prayed hard and long for a woman that he could spend the rest of his life with. I remember being there during those days, but God gave him someone. God gave him Heather. Heather was a perfect partner for him. Heather was beaming when she came down the aisle and Anthony was tearing up as he saw his bride as any groom should.
I just wanted to say again Congratulations to you guys.
Thanks for letting me be part of it and also letting me “make it legal” . I bless you guys as the Lord takes you on this journey of life together.
Also to Pastor Phil – Namaste to you too
